Registration for the Ohana Volleyball Club's 2014 Camps and the 2014-2015 Club Tryouts are now open!  Please go to the Tryouts/Camps/Clinics page to get more details and to register for one or both events.

Our Camps our designed to help your daughter(s) and/or son(s) prepare for the upcoming tryout process for the Ohana Volleyball Club and for other volleyball programs in the area.  We will have four to eight coaches working with the campers helping them get that extra edge they need to make a club volleyball team.

Our Ohana Volleyball Club Tryouts will start in mid-October.  This year, we will have a total of 14 teams.  For the girls, those teams will consist of:  one 6th Grade/12U team, two 7th grade/13U teams, two 8th Grade/14U teams, two 9th Grade/15U teams, two 10th Grade/16U teams, two 11th Grade/17U teams, and one 12th Grade/18U team.  For the boys, we will have one 7th Grade/13U team and one 8th Grade/14U team.

We look forward to seeing you soon at one or both of these events!

The club fees for the 2014-2015 season for the Ohana Volleyball Club will be $800 for all teams except the 6th Grade/12U team and the two boys teams.  The fees will cover the cost of facility rental for two, two-hour practices per week, coaches pay, the costs of entering 8 to 9 tournaments per team, use of the jersey, and Ohana VBC warm-ups.  The club fee for the 6th Grade/12U team will be $500 and they will play in 5 to 6 tournaments this season.  The club fees for the two boys teams will be $400 (subsidized by the Iowa Volleyball Region) and they will also play in 5 to 6 tournaments this season.

It's official!  The Ledesma family just signed a lease for the new Ohana Sports Complex which will be located in the Grimes Industrial Park near the Sky Zone, MB2 Raceway, and The U.  Opening day is scheduled for January 2nd, 2015.  It will consist of four volleyball/basketball courts that will be tournament-ready, high-gloss, high performance, sports court (similar to what they used for this year's NCAA Division 1 Women's Volleyball Championships).  The Ohana Volleyball Club will now have a new home for practices, clinics, camps, and tournaments!  For more information, visit the Ohana Sports Complex page on this website.

A special thanks goes out to Dan Corron from Denny Elwell Company (left) and Attorney Murray Gotsdiner from the law firm of McEnroe, Gotsdiner, Brewer, Steinbach, & Rothman P.C. (right) for helping make the Ohana Sports Complex become a reality!  The Ledesma family could not have done it without you!
